Many of the tutorials here were created on version 13 or earlier versions of Simple GIS Client. While many of the principles remain the same, several of the dialogs have been re-designed in version 14 and may look different than the ones shown in these tutorials. We will be updating with new tutorials soon.

This video GIS tutorial will demonstrate creating buffers in a Simple GIS Client project to perform sophisticated spatial analysis. It will also cover creating drive time/distance rings.
This video demonstrates the improved Proximity Analysis tool available in Simple GIS Client version 14 and later. With this tool users can perform analysis to answer questions such as "How many customers are located with 5 miles of my store location and what is the average distance between my store location and customers?" In addition, the new proximity analysis tool allows you to classify and group results. For example, if you had different customer types, you could specify a grouping on your analysis results to answer the same question for each type of customer as well as for the total customer population.
This video tutorial demnstrates creating a hillshade image from a raster elevation dataset. It discusses the various parameters used to create a hillshade image suzh as azimuth, altitude, and z scaling factor.
