I was eager to try your new Geocoding Template in SimpleGIS 14. My current Gold Standard is the annual slice of the FCC Amateur Radio Service database. Licensees enter their own address (generating some errors of spelling, etc.), it's over 750,000 and growing about 1.5% per year, and it is not unlike other large DBs from clients. With Simple GIS, users can easily locate single street addresses or multiple addresses in a batch geocoding operation and is one of the most inexpensive GIS software solutions available (See Pricing). Simple GIS Client is integrated out of the box with the freely available US Census Geocoder Service, so users can quickly map their addresses with little or no setup. In addition, Simple GIS offers a free Geocode database for US street addresses that users can download for free to their local machine. In addition, Simple GIS allows users to create their own geocoding database for offline use if they wish. Simple GIS can even combine several data sources into a single geocoding database.
