Simple GIS Client Plugins

Simple Territory Mapper is a plugin extension for the Simple GIS Client desktop GIS application. Simple Territory Mapper allows  the user to create and manage territories by zip code, school district, county, or state.  With the Simple  Territory Mapper plugin, users can also easily append custom data like sales data, staffing, etc, or demographic data from the US Census Bureau to their territories.  The territory manager provides easy tools to manage and balance your territories using your own data or demographic data from the US Census Bureau. 

Simple GIS Collaborate is a plugin extension for the Simple GIS Client desktop GIS application.  Simple GIS Collaborate provides tools to aid in sharing and collaborating on Simple GIS data and maps across a team of individuals.  For example, with Simple GIS Collaborate, users can publish their Simple GIS Client MapDataView documents as web mapping applications that can then be shared and accessed by other users using a web browser across multiple devices, including mobile devices.   You can view a sample web mapping application created with the Simple GIS Collaborate plugin from this link... Web Mapping Demo.   Alternatively, users can also publish maps to a simple portable map document format allowing users to share their maps with colleagues and clients with the Simple Map Viewer application, a freely available application allowing users to view and query data in an interactive map. 

Simple GIS Collaborate also provides a mechanism for work order generation and processing.  With Simple GIS Collaborate, users can set up a work order process for their team to aide in field data collection.  A GIS Administrator is able to easily generate a work order for specific layers and geographic regions.  Field users are then able to open these work orders, edit and input data and then post these work orders for processing.  The work order processing also includes full conflict reporting and resolution feature to help the administrator resolve any conflicts between work orders.  

The Extended Geoprocessing plugin is a plugin extension for Simple GIS Client that provides additional geoprocessing tools not available under the core Simple GIS Client application.  Extended Geoprocessing Plugin adds the following geoprocessing functions:

• Join Table to Shapefile -permanently join columns from an external table or spreadsheet table document in your Simple GIS Client project to a selected shapefile in their Map Data View document.  For a tutorial of this function see Join Table to Shapefile.  
  
• Generate Contours from Raster Elevation Data - Generate a shapefile of elevation contour lines from a supported raster elevation image.  Simpy select the input raster image, the elevation interval to generate the contour lines by and the output filename for your shapefile.

• Generate Concave Polygons from Points -  create a set of concave polygons enclosing a set of points.
  
• Generate Convex Polygons from Points - create a set of convex polygons enclosing a set of points.
  
• Polygonize Raster - Generate a polygon shapefile from a single band tiff image.
  
• Convert ArcGrid to GeoTiff - convert ArcGrid raster format to GeoTiff rater.
  
• File GeoDatabase to Shapefile - Convert a file geodatabase to a set of shapefiles.
  
• Georefeferenced PDF to GeoTiff - Convert a georeferenced PDF file to GeoTiff raster.
  
• Shapefile to GeoJSON - Convert a shapefile to a GeoJSON file.
  
• KML/KMZ to Shapefile - convert a KML or KMZ file to a set of shapefiles
  
• Shapefile to KML/KMZ - Export a shapefile as a KML or KMZ file

Simple GIS Server Admin Plugin is a free plugin that provides the means to connect to, administer, and publish data from your Simple GIS Client application to your Simple GIS Server instance.  Whether you are using an on-premises installation of Simple GIS Server or using our Simple GIS Server - Hosted Service, you would use this plugin to administer your instance. With the Simple GIS Server Admin, you can perform the following on your Simple GIS Server instance:

• Administer user credentials, access rights, and workspaces
• Publish map views in your Simple GIS Client application as read-only interactive web mapping applications to your Simple GIS server instance.
• Publish shape layers from your Simple GIS Client map view as shared layers on your Simple GIS Server instance that can be accessed by other Simple GIS Client users.
• Publish map views from your Simple GIS Client applications as a tile map layer to be served by your Simple GIS Server instance.
• Publish data tables from your Simple GIS Client application that can be served by your Simple GIS Server instance to other Simple GIS Client users as client/server tables.
