Welcome to the Simple GIS Server Download Page

To begin your download, click the "Download Now" button located below to download the Simple GISServerx64.exe installer. Once downloaded, run the SimpleGISClientx64.exe installer and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your installation.  The free trial is fully functional for 15 days.  However, users can purchase a license from the application registration dialog on application startup or by clicking the "View Simple GIS Pricing" button below.  Please consult our FAQ page for more information about operating requirements, licensing, and support.  If you prefer a fully hosted solution, please see our Simple GIS Server - Hosted Service.  Note:  If you run into any problems downloading and running the Simple GIS Server Free Trial, or if you would like to speak with someone regarding Simple GIS products and services, please send us a note and someone will be happy to assist you.

Installation Notes:

  •  Simple GIS Server is a "native" Windows application and as such must be installed on your device.  All Simple GIS Software is signed by our registered code signing certificate so you can be sure the installation your are running has been published by Simple GIS Software.  Code Signing certificates are used to digitally sign applications and software programs to prove that the file a user is downloading is genuine and has not been compromised.  Code Signing provides authentication to assure customers that the file they are downloading is from the publisher named on the certificate. In addition, this also proves that the file has not been tampered with or hacked since it was signed.   When you launch the SimpleGISServerSetup.exe, you will likely receive the User Account Control dialog as shown below, depending upon your User Account Control settings in Windows.     


  • In this dialog, you should see the Verified publisher as Simple GIS Software, LLC.  You can also click on the "Show more details" link if you would like to see more detailed information about our code signing certificate.   In addition, Simple GIS Software only reports the license number, product indentifier, and date, needed for product registration.   For more information, you can refer to our Privacy Policy.  If you are presented with this dialog, select "Yes" to continue the installation.  Once the installer launches, simply follow the on screen prompts to complete your installation.
